On Monday, February 17, 2025, in Palermo, the new GNV Polaris was presented to the CEO of GNV Matteo Catani and the management of the company, as well as several representatives of local authorities including the mayor of Palermo, Roberto Lagalla.
Globest, together with other travel agencies and business partners from Sicily, participated in the event and visited the GNV Polaris, appreciating its aesthetic and functional characteristics.
The GNV Polaris is the first of a series of four ferries commissioned by GNV and oriented to the future and environmental protection, since, thanks to advanced technologies, the ship manages to reduce CO2 emissions by 30%.
