Cooking class: you will learn to prepare a traditional dish with a tasting of the recipe prepared during the course, accompanied by a glass of wine.
Sfince are soft, airy fritters , peculiar to Palermo, that are fried and filled with ricotta cream, chocolate chips and orange zest.
Their name comes from Arabic and means sponge . They are prepared for Father’s Day , but actually given their goodness they can be found in all pastry shops in Palermo from November to May . I will pair this delicacy with a Moscato dell’Etna , a sweet raisin wine with fruity notes and a slight minerality.
