Discovering the paths of the Volcano
From the Volcano to the sea in one go.
The descent from Etna by MTB will guarantee a ’49 km long adventure immersed in the most spectacular nature in Sicily.
A MTB tour, which will take you from the peaks of Etna to the Port of Giardini Naxos.

The mountain bike adventure begins!

We will start from the meeting point to reach, on board our jeeps, the Chalet “Clan dei Ragazzi”, located on the northern side of Etna at an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level. Our MTB route will start from here and will wind along “off-road” roads in the Etna undergrowth, full of adrenaline-filled “downhill” descents among dense woods with thirty meter high trees, breathtaking views, boundless expanses of lava and volcanic craters.

Alcantara Gorges

We will continue our mountain bike adventure along the Mareneve State Road, a route so evocative that it has been included by National Geographic among the 70 most beautiful cycle itineraries in the world.
We will cycle through typical villages of Etna and go along old disused railways until we reach the Alcantara Gorges. Here, we will take a break to admire the canyon and take some photos.

Giardini Naxos

The excursion then continues following the course of the river until reaching the beautiful beach of Giardini Naxos, where our ride will end with a breathtaking view of the sea.

Visit to the 2002 lava flow;
Start of tour in the woods of Etna;
Stop in Castiglione di Sicilia;

Where do we meet?

The guide will pick you up by jeep or minibus directly from your accommodation or another agreed location.

In case of bad weather, to ensure the safety of participants, the tour will be rescheduled to the earliest available date.

What is the recommended clothing?

Trekking or tennis shoes and clothing suitable for the season.

Do you provide technical equipment?

Yes, the organization provides MTB (e-bike) and protective helmet;

What are the cancellation policies?

Cancellation is free if it is made at least 7 days before the set date.
However, if the cancellation occurs less than 7 days before the set date, the entire amount paid will be lost.
If the booked activity is canceled due to adverse weather conditions, the amount paid will be fully refunded.
