After picking up your rental car, head to Montecatini Terme, a popular spa town nestled in the picturesque Tuscan countryside. This first day is dedicated to relaxation after the trip: you can walk through the thermal gardens, sip an aperitif in one of the elegant cafés, or perhaps treat yourself to a regenerating treatment at the spa. The evening ends with a delicious dinner based on Tuscan specialties, preparing you for the emotions of the days to come. Hotel accommodation and overnight stay.

Between Art and Timeless Beauty
Breakfast at the hotel. This day will be entirely dedicated to Florence, the cradle of the Renaissance.
Once you arrive, you will be free to get lost among its wonders. You cannot miss a visit to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore with Brunelleschi’s majestic Dome, the Baptistery and Giotto’s Bell Tower (entrances not included). Cross Ponte Vecchio, admire the artisan workshops and then head towards Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi Gallery (we strongly recommend booking tickets in advance!). Have lunch in a typical trattoria and taste the famous “Florentine steak”. The afternoon could be dedicated to visiting the Accademia Gallery to admire Michelangelo’s David, or to a relaxing walk in the Boboli Gardens. Return to Montecatini Terme in the evening.

Discovering Ancient Rome
After breakfast, you will get in the car and leave for Rome, the Eternal City. The journey will take about three hours. After free lunch, dedicate the afternoon to exploring Ancient Rome. Start from the majestic Colosseum (entrance not included), the undisputed symbol of the city and arena of the ancient gladiators. Not far away are the Imperial Forums and the Palatine Hill, an archaeological complex that will take you on a dive into the glorious past of the Roman Empire. Walk among the ruins, admiring temples, basilicas and triumphal arches, and let yourself be carried away by the story that each stone tells. In the evening, a great option is to dine in the Monti neighborhood, known for its traditional trattorias and lively atmosphere. Hotel accommodation and overnight stay.

Discovering Christian Rome and Baroque Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. The fourth day in Rome is a fascinating mix between spirituality and art. Start your day with a visit to Vatican City. Admire the grandeur of St. Peter’s Square and the exciting St. Peter’s Basilica, which houses Michelangelo’s Pietà and the majestic Dome. If weather permits, climb the Dome for a breathtaking panoramic view of Rome.
Next, immerse yourself in the art of the Vatican Museums (entrance not included) and the evocative Sistine Chapel. Free lunch. In the afternoon, you will immerse yourself in Baroque Rome. Start from Piazza Navona, with its splendid fountains, including Bernini’s famous Fountain of the Four Rivers. Continue to the Pantheon, an ancient Roman temple converted into a church and then toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain to ensure a return to Rome. End the day with a walk in Piazza di Spagna and the Trinità dei Monti staircase. End your day with a typical dinner in one of the most authentic neighborhoods of Rome. Imagine sitting in a trattoria in Trastevere or in the Monti district, savoring traditional Roman dishes such as cacio e pepe, amatriciana or saltimbocca, accompanied by a good glass of local wine. A perfect opportunity to experience the true Roman atmosphere and bring with you an indelible memory of this eternal city. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

From the Heart of Italy to the Sea
Breakfast at the hotel. Today you will leave the capital behind to head south. The car journey from Rome to Sorrento takes approximately 3-4 hours. Along the way, make a stop in Naples, the capital of Southern Italy, the city of Vesuvius, the home of pizza… Lose yourself in the lively alleys of Spaccanapoli and San Gregorio Armeno, admire the majestic Maschio Angioino, the Piazza del Plebiscito, the Palazzo Reale, the Umberto I gallery … treat yourself to a fried pizza or a puff pastry in one of the many authentic pizzerias. In the early afternoon head towards Sorrento, the pearl of the Sorrento Peninsula. After packing your bags at the hotel, treat yourself to an evening walk around Corso Italia, the beating heart of the city, admiring the artisan shops and enjoying the spectacular view of the Gulf of Naples from the Garden of the Villa Comunale. Dinner can only be based on fresh fish and, obviously, limoncello.

A Dream Called Capri
Breakfast at the hotel. Today the car will remain stationary, but the adventure continues! From Sorrento, a short ferry or hydrofoil ride will take you to the enchanting island of Capri. Get ready to be won over by its legendary beauty. Once you disembark in Marina Grande, take the funicular that will take you directly to the famous Piazzetta of Capri, the beating heart of the island. From here you can get lost among the luxury shopping streets, or venture towards the Gardens of Augustus to admire the Faraglioni, the iconic rock formations that emerge from the sea. If you feel adventurous, you can take a bus to Anacapri, the highest municipality on the island. Here, you can visit Villa San Michele with its lush gardens and breathtaking views. Another unmissable experience in Capri is the (optional) boat excursion around the island, which will allow you to admire the Blue Grotto (if sea conditions allow it), the Faraglioni up close and many sea caves and coves hidden. Free lunch in one of the many restaurants with sea view, savoring fresh fish and the glamorous atmosphere of the island. In the afternoon, time for some shopping among the high fashion boutiques or for a romantic stroll along Via Tragara. Return to Sorrento in the late afternoon, ready for another evening of relaxation and good food.

The Perfection of the Coast and the Eternity of Pompeii
This is the day your car will be your best friend! After breakfast at the hotel, get ready to take one of the most spectacular coastal roads in the world: the Amalfi Coast.
Each curve is a postcard: with picturesque villages that seem to cling to the rock, a cobalt blue sea and terraces planted with lemons. The obligatory stops are Positano, with its colorful houses that cascade towards the sea, where you can walk through the alleys of the center and perhaps take a swim. Continuing, you will reach Amalfi, the ancient Maritime Republic, with its majestic Cathedral of Sant’Andrea and the suggestive Cloister of Paradise (entrance not included). Finally, stop in Ravello, a jewel set on the hills, famous for its historic villas, Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, with enchanting gardens and unforgettable views of the coast. Free lunch in one of these villages, savoring the seafood specialties. In the afternoon, leave the wonders of the Coast and head towards a journey through time: Pompeii. The ruins of the ancient Roman city, buried by the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, are a touching and unforgettable experience. Dedicate at least 3-4 hours to visiting the archaeological park (entrance not included), exploring the paved streets, frescoed houses, amphitheaters and temples that offer an incredible insight into Roman daily life. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Goodbye Italy!
After breakfast, departure in the direction of Naples airport for the return of the car and boarding formalities. On this day of return, nostalgia for the places visited and enthusiasm for returning home mix.
