Not far away are the Imperial Forums and the Palatine Hill, an archaeological complex that will take you on a dive into the glorious past of the Roman Empire. Walk among the ruins, admiring temples, basilicas and triumphal arches, and let yourself be carried away by the story that each stone tells. The evening will be the perfect opportunity to enjoy a traditional Roman dinner in a typical trattoria, savoring dishes such as cacio e pepe or amatriciana. Return to the hotel and overnight stay.

Breakfast at the hotel. The second day in Rome is a fascinating mix between spirituality and art. Start your day with a visit to Vatican City. Admire the grandeur of St. Peter’s Square and the exciting St. Peter’s Basilica, which houses Michelangelo’s Pietà and the majestic Dome. If weather permits, climb the Dome for a breathtaking panoramic view of Rome. Next, immerse yourself in the art of the Vatican Museums (entrance not included) and the evocative Sistine Chapel. Free lunch. In the afternoon, discover Christian Rome by visiting the Major Basilicas: San Giovanni in Laterano, cathedral of Rome, and Santa Maria Maggiore, famous for its early Christian mosaics. Trastevere and the Elegance of Baroque Rome
Breakfast at the hotel. The third day of the tour will take you to discover the Trastevere district and Baroque Rome. Trastevere is one of the most picturesque neighborhoods in Rome, famous for its lively atmosphere and its streets characterized by colorful and flowery houses. Visit the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere, one of the oldest places of worship in Rome, famous for its golden mosaics representing religious scenes. Walking through Trastevere is like taking a step back in time, with its squares and churches that tell the story of Rome. Free lunch. In the afternoon, you will immerse yourself in Baroque Rome. Start from Piazza Navona, with its splendid fountains, including Bernini’s famous Fountain of the Four Rivers. Continue to the Pantheon, an ancient Roman temple converted into a church, and then toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain to ensure a return to Rome. End the day with a walk in Piazza di Spagna and the Trinità dei Monti staircase. Goodbye Eternal City!
It’s time to say goodbye to Rome. The fourth and final day of this tour will take you outside Rome, to discover the town of Tivoli, famous for its magnificent historic villas. Just half an hour’s drive from the capital, Tivoli is the perfect destination for a day trip. The first stop is the Villa d’Este, a world heritage site that offers a breathtaking spectacle with its Italian gardens and scenic fountains. Walking through the avenues and fountains of Villa d’Este is like entering a Renaissance painting. Free lunch. In the afternoon, departure in the direction of Rome airport for the return of the car and boarding formalities. On this day of return, nostalgia for the places visited and enthusiasm for returning home mix.
